Hi Alan. The AGP card in my Dell went bad after 3 months, but Mr.Dell came out the next day and replaced it. It was a NVIDIA geFORCE with 32 meg of memory. It happened very slowly, started out freezing up when I was playing high graphic video games like Unreal Tournament. I tried everything including drivers to fix it, course didn't know it was a card going bad. Finally one day it popped up with gray lines all over the screen. The dell repairman showed it to me,,, the fan on the card had quit blowing and wouldn't even turn by hand. You might check your card fan first...
