They are both private and the only way to play Beacon Power is via MKTY and SATC investments.

ALBANY, N.Y., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mechanical Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: MKTY - news) announced today that it had invested $6 million in Beacon Power Corporation in exchange for approximately 8% of Beacon's outstanding securities.

MKTY also owns 15% of SatCon which owns 30% of the outstanding capital stock of Beacon Power
