Per Briefing.com July 3, 2000 [09:27 ET] Gateway (GTW) 57: PC maker delaying shipment of Thunderbird-based PC after discovering glitch that causes the Thunderbird processor to seize up, according to SG Cowen.

AMD believes that problem is specific to Gateway. Circumstances suggest that the problem may lie with Jabil (JBL), which custom-designed motherboards for Gateway.
