Rodman & Renshaw Inc said Tuesday it downgraded CYPRESS SEMI. CORP.
(down 3/8 to 14-5/8 at 1:05 pm EDT) to neutral from a buy rating, and also lowered its EPS estimates for 1997 to $0.50 from $0.70 and for 1998 to $1.00 from $1.30. In a report, Rodman said a possible flow in a new Intel Corp. microprocessor could delay an expected increase demand for SRAMs, which are memory parts used in personal computers, which Cypress manufactures.
