This is why I consider it pointless to argue about valuations. If the accounting is sufficiently creative then who is to say whether 1500X earnings or 100X earnings is fair.

People always used to complain about AOL's accounting and talk about how overvalued it was. But no one came around later to admit they were wrong.

I'm taking a stand here and saying that companies like Yahoo and Amazon (I won't speak for any others) are fairly valued.

I'll be around later to face the music.
