(JWEB) General Magic and Juno Announce Strategic Marketing Alliance;
myTalk Service to be Marketed to Millions of Juno Subscribers

General Magic, Inc. (Nasdaq:GMGC) and Juno Online Services, Inc.
(Nasdaq:JWEB)
today announced an agreement to provide General Magic's myTalk(TM) Web
service
for free to Juno's millions of members.

Juno will be the first Internet access provider to offer this ISP service,
which
enables consumers to receive and respond to e-mail and voicemail messages
through the phone or the Web.

"The award-winning myTalk service is a terrific addition to Juno, and we
think
our members will really like it," said Charles Ardai, Juno's president and
CEO.
"Our members will now be able to get their e-mail at any time and from any
location."

Using myTalk, Juno members will be able to dial a toll-free number from any
telephone, hear their e-mail messages read to them, and respond to messages
by
speaking into the phone. Users can interact with myTalk entirely by voice,
for
example by saying "Play it" to listen to a message or "Send a reply" to
respond
to an e-mail. myTalk currently has more than 500,000 members, attesting to a
growing consumer interest in Web talk services.

"It is exciting for us to partner with Juno, one of the nation's leading
providers of Internet services," said Steve Markman, president and CEO of
General Magic. "We expect many Juno users to add to their e-mail experience
by
taking advantage of the myTalk service. We are delighted to welcome Juno's
member base to our myTalk community."

General Magic notes that this press release contains forward-looking
statements.
There are risks and uncertainties that may cause actual results to vary
materially. These risks and uncertainties include, but are not limited to,
the
adequacy of the Company's financial resources to execute its business plan;
the
Company's ability to attract, retain and motivate key technical, marketing
and
management personnel; continued market acceptance of the myTalk service;
persistent increases in the rate of new member growth; the capability of the
Company's Network Operations Center to handle demand; increased competition
in
the market for voice-enabled services; introduction of competing products
with
technological and/or other advantages; and the challenges inherent in the
development and delivery of complex technologies. These and other risk
factors
are detailed in General Magic's Registration Statement on Form S-3, filed on
December 17, 1999.

Statements in this press release regarding Juno Online Services, Inc. that
are
not historical facts are forward-looking statements and are subject to risks
and
uncertainties that could cause such statements to differ materially from
actual
future events or results. Any such forward-looking statements are made
pursuant
to the safe harbor provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform

to
differ materially from those described in a forward-looking statement:
limited
history of offering Juno's billable premium services and free basic service
in
its current form; history of losses; failure to retain or grow Juno's
subscriber
base; increasing competition from existing or new competitors; inability to
sustain current levels of subscriber acquisition or retention; inability to
successfully migrate members to or retain members in Juno's billable premium
services; increased telecommunications costs resulting from the expansion of
Juno's free basic service; rapid technological change; possible
unavailability
of financing as and if needed; decreases in the popularity of the Internet
among
consumers or as an advertising medium; dependence on a limited number of
vendors, including without limitation third-party vendors for the provision
and
roll-out of the Juno Express broadband service; dependence on strategic
marketing alliances as a source of revenues; inability to achieve
telecommunication cost savings through efficient hardware utilization of
per-modem pricing; possible industry consolidation; and potential
fluctuations
in quarterly and annual results. This list is intended to identify only
certain
of the principal factors that could cause actual results to differ. Readers
are
referred to the reports and documents filed by Juno with the Securities and
Exchange Commission, including the Registration Statement on Form S-1 filed
