Yesmail.com adds 1.1 million members|
VERNON HILLS, Ill., Dec 16 (Reuters) - Yesmail.com Inc., an e-mail marketing firm, said Thursday its YesMail network of subscribers, who have agreed to receive promotional e-mail, grew by more than 1.1 million members in November.
The company, which delivers personalized e-mail marketing messages, targets prospects, and tracks and analyzes response results for marketing customers, said total YesMail membership now exceeds 4.1 million people.
Yesmail.com only sends marketing messages via e-mail to Internet users who have agreed to receive them.
The company also announced the addition of 14 new network partners to its current total of more than 70. YesMail network partners offer users who come to their site an opportunity to register to receive Yesmail.
On Wednesday, Internet venture firm CMGI Inc. (NasdaqNM:CMGI) had said it would buy yesmail.com for about $500 million in stock.
