With internet speeds going up...and the imacs hard to upgrade, what will happen to all those pcs?

Huh? Even a T-1 line only runs at 1.44 Mbps (25 times the speed of a 56k modem), and 10Base-T is 10 Mbps. So the iMac's 100Base-T won't be saturated for many, many years, if ever, by "internet speeds."
