Advocates of the Gorilla Game approach to investing are invited to introduce candidates for inclusion in Gorilla & King portfolios. Several portfolios have been set up to track the valuation changes of our selections based on hypothetical investments of $10,000 in each component at prior year's closing prices. Though a new compilation is offered each year, the older versions are preserved so we will be able to evaluate ltb&h returns.
The G&K Index (GKI) consists of large cap Gorillas and Kings that are broadly and heavily owned by members of the thread. It is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of Gorillas and Kings.

Note: The methodology employed for the 1999 GKI, which was our first attempt at a tracking index, was to include all of the Gorillas and Kings that we had identified.
The Watch & Wait Portfolio consists of potential Gorillas and Kings, and acts as a feeder tank for the GKI.
